Artist Conversations

Sydney Rose

Last week I got to sit down with the incredible Sydney Rose — an artist who’s having a massive moment right now. She just dropped her brand-new single ‘The Holiday’ last week, and she’s heading straight into a sold-out U.S. headline tour that kicks off in New York before landing here in Boston at Brighton Music Hall on November 21st.

If you’ve heard her EP ‘I Know What I Want’, or her viral breakout ‘We Hug Now’, you already know why she’s blowing up. That track alone has racked up millions of streams, taken over TikTok, and put her solidly in the spotlight as one of music’s fastest-rising young artists.

Dirty Honey

Rock fans, get ready to crank up the volume! Today, we’re thrilled to have Dirty Honey’s powerhouse guitarist, John Notto, joining us on Bonnie’s Mixtape. Before the band hits the road for the final leg of their 2024 ‘Can’t Find The Brakes’ tour, John gives us an inside look at their journey, their signature sound, and what makes Dirty Honey one of the most badass rock bands on the scene today.

With their raw energy and no-holds-barred vibe, this is a band you simply can’t afford to miss!

Lauren Monroe and Rick Allen

Lauren Monroe and Rick Allen discuss the Raven Drum Foundation’s purpose and upcoming Boston show with Bonnie, March 8, 2024.

Recently Bonnie had a chance to speak with Lauren Monroe and Rick Allen about Lauren’s upcoming Boston show and goals of the  Raven Drum Foundation, established in 2001.  The foundation’s focus is to support survivors of post-traumatic stress through the use of music and mindfulness for healing. Rick shared that Lauren’s show is “really, really special as it creates a safe and sacred place and it allows people to open up, and in doing so they start to see one another. They start to see their vulnerabilities, you know. We love doing it. It’s so good for us as well. It really, it really feeds us.”

Brandy Clark

This interview is not only a must-listen for fans of Brandy Clark but also for anyone interested in the realities of the music world and the creative process of one of its most talented artists. Join Bonnie & WSCA for this enlightening and inspiring discussion with Brandy Clark, a true luminary in the world of music.
